Headshots in Las Vegas | Eileen

This week I was privileged enough to take some head shots of Eileen Garza, a local realtor of Luxury Realty Group here in Las Vegas, Nevada. Eileen and her boyfriend James came to our home studio to do a series of shots for her personal branding and to use on her website and social media content. She wanted an indoor session with a gray or white background and multiple clothing changes. I set up a four light system that would really highlight each part of her face, her eyes, and her outfit.

For some of the technical aspects, I used to lights to light her in a clamshell type configuration. One just above eye level and the other has a lower fill light one-stop less lighting so that it filled in the shadows underneath her chin. I also used a hair light that was camera right that highlighted her dark hair. For the fourth light I had one on a mini stand behind her with a 40° grid pointed up at the background to create a lighter type halo behind her separating her from the background.

When they arrived we ask them how they found us here in Las Vegas? Eileen Told us that she found us through Instagram, but in a round about way. She said one of the photos of an agent that she saw was premiered on a real estate Instagram site (it was actually of my daughter and her real estate headshot that I took recently). Apparently it was featured on their site and so when she clicked on it to see who it was and who the photographer was, she realized that my daughter lived in Bend, Oregon. and she assumed the photographer did as well. I was happy she went a step further and realized I lived in Vegas

Long story short, we were finally able to meet and create some beautiful photos of her for her brand. Below are the three images she chose to go on her website business page and social media sites.
